Restaurant publicly shames disgusting customer after he tries to dodge the bill – by using his armpit hair

You’re not going to believe the lengths some people will go to avoid paying a bill! A popular steak restaurant in Sydney, Australia, is absolutely buzzing after they publicly shamed a customer who allegedly tried to dodge a whopping $600 bill by plucking hair from his armpit and putting it on his food. Honestly, you can’t make this stuff up.

This wild incident went down at Pony Dining in The Rocks, a high-end steak spot that’s been a staple in Sydney for over two decades. On February 12, the restaurant decided enough was enough and posted CCTV footage of the diner, who was eating with a group. The video clearly shows the man reaching under his shirt multiple times, appearing to pluck hairs from his body, and then placing them right onto his expensive steak. It’s just bizarre behavior,

According to Dexerto, the restaurant captioned the Facebook clip, saying, “We don’t usually share content like this.” They explained that after the meal was served, the guest raised a complaint about a hair in his food and then refused to pay. But, according to Pony Dining, that was just the beginning of their troubles with this particular customer.

I am not sure if this is entitlement or just straight crazy

Speaking about the ordeal, the restaurant stated that “during the interaction, our team also experienced inappropriate and unacceptable behavior. The man had racked up a hefty $600 bill, mostly from ordering some of the restaurant’s most expensive steaks, including a Tomahawk steak.

The team at Pony Dining was naturally suspicious when they noticed the group acting “very weird” during their meal. They had served what they described as a “wonderful dinner” in a very clean environment at a beautiful table, so the hair complaint just didn’t sit right with them. That’s why they decided to check their CCTV footage.

When the restaurant tried to make the man pay, he flat-out refused. So, they did what anyone would do and called the police. However, as they hadn’t reviewed the CCTV footage yet, the police advised them that it was a civil problem and there wasn’t much they could do right then.

In the end, the man and his group only paid for their drinks and then left, leaving behind that substantial unpaid food bill. With the price of beef going up, and many others afraid they won’t be able to eat a steak meal, it’s a real shame that someone would go to such disgusting lengths to avoid paying for a meal.
