Merseyside restaurateur Gary Usher has defended the price of a burger at his new pub after facing a backlash.
The burger in question is sold at Usher's latest venture, The White Horse, which has been a labour of love for the businessman and chef. He snapped it up last year following a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Usher is no stranger to getting pubs and restaurants on their feet - he operates Elite Bistros, which has seen success with a range of award-winning restaurants, from Wreckfish in Liverpool to Burnt Truffle in Heswall, and many more.
