Brisbane [Australia]: One of the most unfortunate effects of climate change is the impact it has on the species of marine life. University of Queensland researchers and global marine experts reviewed marine biology literature and categorised a wide range of threats - from climate change to pollution, to fishing - faced by more than 45,000 species and developed a framework.
The framework has been formed for identifying the most vulnerable marine species. It will boost global conservation and policy efforts against anthropogenic climate change. The research has been published in 'Ecosphere'.
