The death toll from a boat sinking off the shores of Djibouti on the night of 8-9 October, has risen to at least 139, a UN agency said Sunday, after 30 more bodies were found. Rescue operations are underway to find the dozens of missing. More than 80 people survived the shipwreck, all Ethiopian nationals.

Survivors said the vessel – which was carrying 305 people from Djibouti to Yemen – capsized north of the Djibouti town of Obock, according to a statement from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
