Rescuers finally able to board charred Philippines ferry 40 hours after fire broke out

Philippines Palawan Manila

Philippine rescuers finally boarded the charred MV June Aster to search for dozens of missing passengers, more than 40 hours after a deadly fire broke out on the ferry.

Five people have been confirmed dead, 43 have so far been rescued, and 84 remain missing.
