Republican Rep. Burgess Owens has secured his re-election to a third term in the U.S. House, representing Utah's 4th Congressional District. The race was officially called at 4:34 a.m. ET on Wednesday, confirming Owens' victory.
Owens, a former NFL safety, emerged victorious over Democratic candidate Katrina Fallick-Wang. He will continue to serve as the representative for parts of Salt Lake County, Sanpete, Utah, and Juab counties in Congress. Notably, Owens is one of four Black Republicans currently elected to the House.
