The Golden State Warriors will face the Denver Nuggets in their Christmas Day matchup, according to a report by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Denver will enter the season as the reigning NBA champions, while the Warriors will hope their marquee Dec. 25 matchup is a prelude to the Western Conference finals in mid-2024.
As such, we will be treated to some stellar basketball when Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green face Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon in what will be the marquee game of the Christmas Day calendar. The game will take place at the Ball Arena in Denver.

Last season, the Nuggets won their regular-season series against the Warriors 3-1. However, Warriors fans can take solace in the fact each loss against Denver was a close-fought contest. The biggest margin was a seven-point defeat on March 7 in a game that ended 131-124.
Nevertheless, a new season is approaching, where all series records are wiped clean, and the Warriors will have another chance of making a run to the NBA Finals. Yet, if Golden State expects to achieve success, they will likely have to go through the Nuggets.
