The Houston Texans are taking the quarterback class seriously.
According to Aaron Wilson from KPRC-TV, the Texans hosted former Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Hendon Hooker for an official visit.
The redshirt senior tore his ACL Nov. 19 in a 63-38 loss to South Carolina. Hooker is expected to be back in time for the regular season.
The 25-year-old completed 229 passes on 329 attempts for 3,135 yards, 27 touchdowns, and just two interceptions in his 11 games for the Vols in 2022. Hooker also rushed 104 times for 430 yards and five touchdowns.
Hooker also has visits with the Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the schedule.
