The Houston Texans are putting Lovie Smith’s guys on the coaching staff.
According to Aaron Wilson from the Pro Football Network, the Texans are hiring former Miami Dolphins assistant Kenyon Jackson as their new assistant defensive line coach to help out defensive line coach Jacques Cesaire.
Jackson has experience with Smith as he played defensive tackle for him at Illinois from 2016-19, and he also knows of the grind in the NFL as his father was former Super Bowl tight end Keith Jackson.
The Texans hired Cesaire to be their defensive line coach after he had spent the last two seasons coaching as an assistant defensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills.
