Amid an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment, Michigan State has opted to part ways with head football coach Mel Tucker. The news was first reported by Action Network’s Brett McMurphy.
As Murphy detailed, the school is investigating the allegations that Tucker sexually harassed activist/rape survivor Brenda Tracy, which USA Today first reported.
Following the decision to part ways with Tucker, secondary coach Harlon Barnett will become Michigan State’s interim head coach while former coach Mark Dantonio is “expected to assist in an undefined role,” per McMurphy.
