The Hawks and former Jazz coach Quin Snyder have began formal discussions about the team’s coaching vacancy, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. There is mutual interest on both sides.
Snyder and the team had a virtual meeting on Wednesday due to the fact that Snyder is believed to be out of the country at this time. Both sides are working for an in-person meeting in the near future and Atlanta is believed to be focused on the 56-year-old.
