Gillette Stadium will play host to one of college football’s longest-standing rivalry games: Army vs. Navy. Surely, Bill Belichick — a huge Navy fan — is smiling to see the game land in his backyard.
Army and Navy will kick off at Gilette Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023.
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and The Kraft Group put in three bids to host the game, and finally they have seen that bid get accepted, per NBC’s Joe Kayata. Navy will stay in Providence and the game-day events will take place in Boston. Boston won its bid over the other finalists: Charlotte, North Carolina; Orlando, Florida; Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New Jersey.
