Report: Ex-USWNT Coach Lands New American Soccer Job After Disappointing World Cup

USWNT Vlatko Andonovski World Cup Soccer United States NWSL FC Kansas City The Kansas City Current

After resigning as coach of the United States women’s national team following the World Cup, Vlatko Andonovski is returning to the National Women's Soccer League.

Andonovski has been hired to coach the Kansas City Current, according to a Friday afternoon report from Steven Goff of The Washington Post.

The Current went 8-12-2 this past season and finished next-to-last in the 12-team league, firing coach Matt Potter on April 19.
