Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is reportedly on the radar of as many as 10 clubs across Europe. The Gunners have even received inquiries from three clubs over a possible move.
Jakub Kiwior Has Struggled for Minutes at Arsenal
Premier League aspirants Arsenal have one of the strongest squads in the division. Manager Mikel Arteta is also a big fan of consistency, meaning he does not rotate unless absolutely required. The Spaniard’s mindset has helped the Gunners become competitive in the Premier League, but it does not bode well for substitutes and reserve-team players.
Versatile Polish defender Kiwior, who is unfortunately behind William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Jurrien Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori in the pecking order, has struggled for minutes this season. Since the start of the 2024-25 campaign, Kiwior has played six games in the Premier League — 0 starts — amassing just 145 minutes. Kiwior is unhappy with a lack of minutes and the North London club is open to letting him leave, of course for the right price.
Ten Clubs Interested in Jakub Kiwior
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal prefers to sell Kiwior permanently this January. The Premier League contenders could be open to selling him for a fee in the region of €40-45 million ($42.1-47.3 million) in the January transfer window.
As per the aforementioned report, as many as 10 clubs are keeping a close eye on Kiwior’s situation. However, most of these clubs are only interested in signing him on loan. The 10 clubs that are eyeing a move for him are, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, Atalanta, Fiorentina, and Bologna from Serie A, Sevilla and Villarreal from La Liga, and Marseille from Ligue 1.
Milan, Napoli, and Sevilla have already asked Arsenal about Kiwior. Napoli and Sevilla are only interested in a loan deal whereas the Rossoneri seem more flexible. So far, Arsenal have not decided whether or not they want to entertain the offers they have received, but Kiwior seems open to trying his luck at a new club.
Since joining from Spezia Calcio in January 2023, Kiwior has played 33 games for the club in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His contract with Arsenal expires on June 30, 2028.
