The Cleveland Browns have already landed a handful of deals in the first two days of NFL free agency, and they are far from done. They could even reunite with a former fifth round linebacker in Mack Wilson, according to The OBR’s Brad Stainbrook. The former Cleveland linebacker was traded to the New England Patriots last offseason in exchange for defensive end Chase Winovich.
If the Browns were to bring back Wilson, it would be as a depth piece and a special teamer. Wilson has also been in contact with the Houston Texans (mentioned twice by Stainbrook), the Patriots, and the Dallas Cowboys as free agency rolls on.
Both the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans have held healthy discussions with Wilson today, sources say. https://t.co/kbxeEcQpdd
