It’s not over yet, Boston Celtics fans — despite time running out before the 3 pm ET arrival of the NBA’s 2022 trade deadline, we are hearing there are still “3 or 4 teams that remain interested in acquiring Dennis Schroder” according to the Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach.
Even after the flurry of moves this Thursday morning that likely impacted the depth of his potential trade market, it seems the German floor general might still be deal even after Boston seems to have solved its tax-trimming salary goals after dealing away Bol Bol and PJ Dozier to the Orlando Magic. One of Himmelsbach’s sources relates that “it’s just about 50/50 as to whether something gets done.”
Another interesting tidbit from the Globe reporter: the Celtics “appear to have no plans to trade Josh Richardson” ahead of the 2022 deadline.

Stay tuned for more trade deadline details as they break — and remember, a trickle of news may continue after 3 pm as calls make their way through the queue at the league office.
