Rep. Elissa Slotkin is gaining momentum in her Senate bid in Michigan with the recent endorsement from former Rep. Liz Cheney. Cheney, a prominent Republican figure, visited the state to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris and subsequently threw her support behind Slotkin.

The Senate race in Michigan is heating up as Slotkin faces off against former Republican congressman Mike Rogers. The competition for the seat being vacated by retiring Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow is intense, with both candidates vying for voter support.
