Celtic midfielder Reo Hatate will miss Saturday's trip to Ross County through injury. Boss Ange Postecoglou revealed at his Friday press conference the Japan international has been ruled out of the clash in Dingwall.
Hatate made a bright start to the campaign, catching the eye in pre-season and in the opening day victory at home to Aberdeen. But he will play no part against Malky Mackay's side as the champions travel north for an early Scottish Premiership test in the Highlands.
The 24-year-old was withdrawn in the latter stages of the 2-0 win over the Dons with a facial injury and Postecoglou will likely now call on David Turnbull or Aaron Mooy to replace Hatate in the Celtic line-up. Ross County were narrowly defeated at Tynecastle by Hearts in their first outing and will look to get their first points on the board - as well as claim a considerable scalp - by shocking the champions.
