Renfrewshire Raiders held their nerve to get their hands on some serious silverware.
Having beaten Cambuslang/Cartha 36-33 in the semi-finals, the side consisting of young players from Bishopton and Paisley Rugby Clubs took to the field at Holmpark to face Dalziel in the final of the West District Under-15 Bowl competition.
In blazing sunshine, and in front of a bumper crowd, both sets of youngsters gave their all as they looked to bag the trophy.
An edgy and hard-fought affair saw the Raiders take a narrow but crucial 12-5 lead into the half-time break.
The clash could have gone either way after the break, but a try straight from the kick-off in the second half put the home side in full control of the tie.
And that score proved to be too much for the North Lanarkshire team, with Raiders eventually adding to the scoreline to seal a memorable 24-12 victory.
That sparked wild celebratory scenes as the Renfrewshire teenagers lifted the trophy in front of their friends, family and local supporters.
