Youngsters at the 3 Bears Nursery celebrated the life and work of Robert Burns in style.
The children at the Renfrew nursery were treated to a lunch of haggis, neeps, and tatties as well as a bit of Scotland’s favourite beverage, Irn-Bru.
And to finish it all off, a shortbread biscuit was had as the kids enjoyed learning all about the bard.
As well as their slap-up lunch, the kids took part in various activities, including the painting of Scottish flags and taking part in a dance to traditional Scottish songs.
They read about Robert Burns and other Scottish favourites, such as Hamish the Hairy Haggis. Nursery worker Nicole told the Paisley Daily Express that the children “did a lot of activities and they had a lovely time”.
And don’t they just look smashing in their tartan tammy hats!
