Removed Love Island USA contestant apologizes over racial slur videos

Vasana Montgomery was removed from the cast of Love Island USA days before its season premiere.
Her removal was due to resurfaced videos from her teenage years showing her using a racial slur .
Montgomery issued a public apology on Instagram, expressing embarrassment and taking full responsibility for her past words.
She stated that she has since grown, educated herself and understands the impact of her language.
This is the second consecutive year islanders have been removed from the show for using racial slurs, highlighting a recurring issue.
