Labour tells TikTok: Take down videos that glorify dangerous driving

No 10 has described the glorification of dangerous driving on social media as “utterly disgraceful” as the government ordered TikTok to take down videos “celebrating” a trend to drive in the wrong direction.

The intervention comes after two police officers – PC Matthew Blades, 37, and PC Tom Clough, 38 – died when the vehicle they were driving was struck head-on by a Volkswagen Passat travelling on the wrong side of the A66 in Teesside on Saturday night.
