Baby singer Justin Bieber came to Bellshill Academy in January 2010, after first-year student Abbie Milligan won a Radio Clyde competition.
Bieber performed an intimate gig to the class of 40, met by screaming teenagers.
To think of the global superstar returning to a local Glasgow school is unlikely, so those were some lucky school children.
The teen sensation had released his debut in 2009, after his performances on YouTube became massively popular.
After touring the United States with Taylor Swift and again with Usher, Bieber even went on to perform for then President Barack Obama at the White House.
With all those boxes ticked, the next thing on his list was a visit to Bellshill.
He performed three tracks for the class including Favourite Girl, On Time and Baby.
Abbie told The Sun after: “I can’t believe I’ve met him. He’s gorgeous - I’m still in shock.
“I only entered the competition on Friday after a girl told me online that she was planning to.
"I never thought for a second that I would win.
“It was nice of him to come out to the school and play - and it got me and all my friends out of maths class. Everyone’s been saying he looks like a baby Zac Efron.”
Bieber had only just begun to gain major success in the UK, though teenage girls across the country had been obsessed for some time.
He told the press: “It was really fun to play for my Scottish fans. I’ve had success back home and I hope to do well here.
“It’s important to stay humble though. If you’re not humble I don’t think you’ll go anywhere in life.”

Glasgow was snubbed on the Believe tour in 2013, with the popstar reportedly deeming his time in London ‘the worst ever’.
We’re sure he feels very different about Glasgow.
It was six years before the Sorry singer would return to the Dear Green Place, for a string of performances at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
Initially playing three nights, additional dates were later added.
At some point during the 2016 tour, the Canadian was spotted in the renowned Blue Lagoon chippy.
Bieber was spotted tucking into a haggis supper and Irn Bru, sampling some of Scotland’s delicacies.
Blue Lagoon owner Alessando Varesa told Glasgow Live at the time: “Justin came in with a cap on and two bouncers with him.
“He was in good spirits and very excited about trying the local cuisine.
“He was in around 10.30pm, ordered a haggis supper, fish supper, and two sausage suppers - he had a few bites of the supper while at the counter and seemed to enjoy it.”
When he wasn’t spending time in the chippy, Bieber was spotted in his tighty-whities outside his rented accommodation.
During his Glasgow gigs, the singer was staying at the huge Kinross House in Perth and Kinross - and was spotted taking selfies in his underwear.
