
A human leg discovered on a Scottish beach two weeks ago has been linked to a body found in Northern Ireland, police have confirmed, bringing a potential resolution to the mystery.
The limb was found on Prestwick beach in South Ayrshire on June 10, prompting an investigation by Police Scotland. The force has since stated that the remains belong to "a missing person from outside of Scotland".
