BENGALURU: Yelahanka residents made an odd request to police on Saturday — ensure that teenagers are back in school instead of allowing them to get more aggressive.
Senior police officers were taken aback when they heard the residents during Masika Janasamparka Divas (monthly public interaction) chaired by police commissioner Kamal Pant. When asked to elaborate, the residents said, “For the past two years, some teenagers have not gone to school and instead have been wasting time on the streets. So much so that many perform dangerous bike stunts, including wheelies, on roads apart from consuming drugs and getting aggressive.”
