Refugees from war-torn Ukraine have found themselves a home in North Ayrshire – after council chiefs opened their arms to welcome people from the Eastern European nation.
Six months on from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, many refugees are rebuilding their lives thousands of miles from home.
