English referee Luke Pearce was wiped out by a giant South African lock during the huge English Premiership clash between Harlequins and Saracens in London.
Pearce was floored after running head first into the shoulder of 19st 3lb Irné Herbst, with the incident drawing gasps from the crowd at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Pearce looked a bit lost for a moment after hitting the turf, quickly blowing his whistle to halt the game as a concerned Herbst checked if he was alright. He was soon smiling though as he shared a joke with Joe Marler and shook hands with Herbst to delight of spectators.
Pearce later tweeted: "Haven’t taken a hit like this since my Exeter Saracens days. Fair play to @irneherbst4for making sure I was ok. On to next week."
