Reduced Sugar Output In Brazil's Center-South Lifts Prices

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is up +0.13 (+0.60%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) is up +5.20 (+0.94%).

Sugar prices today are moderately higher due to a decline in Brazil's Center-South production. Unica reported today that sugar output in Brazil's Center-South region during the first half of November fell -59.2% y/y to 898 MT. Also, the cumulative 2024/25 Center-South sugar output through mid-November is down -3.0% y/y to 38.274 MMT.
