Red Star have admitted they're "raging" as their English language Twitter admin ducked for cover in the wake of a 3-0 Ibrox thumping.
Belgrade set out to win the banter battle online as they dubbed their account 'FK Crvena zvezda in Glaswegian' ahead of the tie but Rangers fans returned to gloat after their side put one foot into the Europa League quarter-finals.
James Tavernier got the party started from the penalty spot before goals from Alfredo Morelos and Leon Balogun.
And as a Gers fan asked Red Star's admin if he was "raging" on the final whistle, the reply was succinct: "Aye."
In the build-up the Twitter page won over plenty of fans with their surprising grasp of Scottish slang, adding the first phrase they learned was "bawbag".
And after a game that saw them find the Rangers net on three occasions only to be foiled by a tight but correct offside call at every turn, the admin summed it up.
Red Star wrote: "Tonight we've put the ball in Rangers' net three times with neither goal counting. Missed a penalty, conceded a penalty, hit the bar, missed chances, lost 3-0.
"This was a p*** evening, but the tie isn't over. See yous in Belgrade!"
They also humoured a fan who quipped they should learn the offside law, replying: "Duly noted. Ta."
