Danny Dyer has hilariously detailed his petrol station horror story.
The EastEnders star, 44, was left in shock after what he thought was a 'scam letter' came through his door.
The former Mick Carter actor became furious upon reading the letter which accused him of filling his car up to the brim with petrol - but driving off and not paying for it.
Danny took it upon himself to get to the root of the issue as he furiously called up a fraud company to explain 'the scam'.
However, he found himself going around in circles on the phone, so instead, he drove to his local petrol station where 'the scene of the crime' was said to have occurred.
Carrying the fraud letter in his hand, Danny marched into the petrol station all guns blazing to get answers - but he was soon left mortified.
The much-loved actor detailed the scenario on the latest episode of his podcast with daughter Dani - Sorted With The Dyers.
Danny explained that the previous week, he had filled up his car full of petrol worth £109.
When he entered the shop to pay for the petrol, he recalled getting distracted while trying to decide what to have for lunch.
After striking up a conversation with the cashier - who Danny described as 'a big fan of his' - he ultimately forgot to mention that he had filled his car up with petrol as he paid for his other lunch items.
Discussing the story on his podcast, Danny said he left the petrol station 'with his tail between his legs' after he realised his mistake.
"I did drive off without paying £109 to fill up my car," Danny revealed.
"I felt just a little bit embarrassed," he laughed.
Danny went on: "I paid for it and cleared it all up. It's all paid for now. But I walked out of that f**king petrol garage with my tail between my legs while clutching that fraud letter.
"I don't think I'll be going back there anytime soon."
