At last, the long-anticipated Red Cross Fair returns to Lumpini Park with a lot of activities and outstanding products from across Bangkok, from today until Dec 18, daily from 11am to 10pm. The opening ceremony takes place today at Lumpini Discovery Learning Library at 5.30pm.
Held to mark the 90th birthday of HM Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother who has been the patron of the Thai Red Cross Society for 66 years, the annual fair makes a comeback after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
It will be packed with booths offering outstanding products from all 50 districts of Bangkok, as well as a range of quality products from many royal projects and public and private organisations.
This is another chance to indulge in sumptuous dishes from 300 food shops, get more knowledge at exhibitions, enjoy stage performances and street music, and have fun with myriad games with prizes. Raffle draws are also available.
For those wishing to have their future read, famous fortune tellers of various disciplines are there to give prediction. They are from the International Astrology Society, the Royal Thai Astrological Association, Siri Wattana Cheshire Foundation and more.
Visitors are invited to donate blood and register to donate their eyes and body organs at the fair.
Those who can't make it to the park can choose to visit the fair virtually via redcrossfair.com round the clock throughout the 11 days. Online fortune-telling services are also available.
