Red arrows route revealed for King Charle's birthday: where to see them flypast

A map has revealed the route Red Arrows will take on King Charles’ birthday this weekend.

The King’s Birthday Parade is to go ahead on Saturday, June 15, the Army confirmed last month, along with the annual Trooping the Colour. It has marked the official birthday of the British sovereign for over 260 years.

Following rehearsals a day or so beforehand, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team will soar over London skies for the ceremony from approximately 12.30pm.

People will be able to come into full view of the Red Arrows kicking off the big day at RAF Waddington. Buckingham Palace is where the main display will be, after the Red Arrows cross swathes of the capital on the flight path.

Military Airshows has documented the route that the aircrafts will take for the King's Birthday.

After starting at RAF Waddington, the Red Arrows will fly out towards the sea and circumnavigate the Norfolk and the Suffolk coast. They will also fly across Aldeburgh, head over Colchester and then Chelmsford before heading to the capital.

At around 1.04pm, they will reach east London. They will head towards Fairlop, Stratford, Redbridge and Leyton ahead of the flypast at Buckingham Palace at 1.06pm.

From there, the Red Arrows will fly out of London, with a set route that will lead them through Belgravia, Brentford, Heathrow and Windsor Castle. They will then move north through the country and back towards RAF Waddington.
