London recycling plant fire brought under control after 50 tonnes of waste blaze

Firefighters have brought under control a blaze involving 50 tonnes of household waste at a south-east London recycling facility.

Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines responded to the incident on Landmann Way, Deptford, on Tuesday evening, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.
