The moment a van was pushed into an East Lothian harbour has been caught on camera - by the apparent vandal himself.
Police were called to Cockenzie Harbour on Sunday morning, April 30, following reports that a van had been pushed over the edge of a wall. A recently circulated clip, filmed by what appears to be the young man responsible, captures the moment he edges it over the wall and onto the sand below.
Images from the scene show the white van heavily damaged after it was fished out of the harbour, and officers say enquiries into the incident remain ongoing as a number of other vehicles reportedly suffered damage in the area.

In the clip, the perpetrator stands the camera up as he then walks over to van which is parked on the edge of the wall and begins rocking it back and forth until it falls over the side.
Police say they believe the person responsible entered the 'unsecured' vehicle and disengaged the handbrake before pushing it into the harbour. Parts of the windscreen, bonnet and roof all suffered damage as a result.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed an investigation is underway following a 'spate of vandalism and break-ins in the area.
They added: "An investigation is under way following a spate of vandalisms and break-ins in West Harbour Road, Cockenzie. A number of units were broken into and several cars were vandalised.
"Police were made aware of the incidents around 7.40am on Sunday, 30 April, 2023. An upturned van was also found in the harbour and officers believe the incidents are linked. Relevant CCTV footage is being checked and officers are following a positive line of inquiry.
"If anyone has any information regarding the incidents, please get in touch with officers, quoting incident number 1004 of 30 April, 2023."
