A small batch of infant walkers sold on Target.com has been recalled because they fail the two engineering requirements specifically written to keep a baby in a walker from reaching the top of a staircase and going over it.
FENUN, Inc. of Pasadena, California, doing business as Kmaier, recalled Kmaier-branded infant walkers in pink, green and white, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The commission said the walkers can fit through a standard doorway and fail to stop at the edge of a step, posing a fall hazard that can result in serious injury or death.
