Rebirth, renewal: Iranian diaspora's wish for new year

As Iranian-Australians gather to celebrate a new year while war rages in their homeland, many hope the conflict can bring about a rebirth or renewal for the people who have suffered under the Iranian regime.

A small crowd of Melbourne's Iranian diaspora gathered at Federation Square on Saturday to honour Nowruz, the Persian New Year.
