Wayne and Coleey Rooney have missed the final day of the Wagatha Christie trial due to a trip with their children, their lawyer has said.

Neither turned up to the High Court on Thursday, which was prepared to hear closing arguments in the libel battle between Ms Rooney and fellow footballer’s wife Rebekah Vardy.
