Fans were introduced to Budig's portrayal of the iconic psychiatrist in a recent episode where Taylor was seen in Monaco, wearing a headscarf and observing the interactions between Brooke and Ridge. Taylor then reached out to her daughter, Steffy, to inform her of her imminent return home.
Previously, the role of Taylor was played by Krista Allen, who departed from the show in November 2023 after Ridge reunited with Brooke. Allen expressed surprise at her sudden exit, mentioning that she had even participated in the cast photoshoot before receiving the news of her departure.
