It's not often a player scores a hat-trick and they aren't on the winning side, but that's exactly what happened to Hamza Igamane and Rangers on Sunday as their defensive frailties came back to bite them during a 3-3 draw against Hibernian.
Rangers started strong, with Igamane finding the net twice within 19 minutes.
However, Martin Boyle led a Hibernian fight back by the hour mark with the momentum shifting towards the hosts’ favour at Easter Road.
Light Blues striker Igamane completed his hat-trick to regain the advantage, but there was to be a final twist as Hibs defender Rocky Bushiri equalised late on.
Despite Igamane now taking his tally to 11 goals since joining from AS FAR last summer, Rangers fell further behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership title race.
And former Rangers goalkeeper Cammy Bell has highlighted Boyle's first goal, which halved the deficit, as a pivotal moment in the game for the Ibrox club.
He pointed out the team's ongoing issues with away performances, since they have only won three times from ten on the road this season, and stressed the necessity of securing maximum points, especially after leading 2-0.

"I think their away form is the problem," Bell said. "We all know their away form is really, really poor and they struggle.
"When they are in a 2-0 winning position today they should not be dropping points. They should be taking three points back home.
"It just shows you how vulnerable they are. When Martin Boyle gets that first goal to make it 2-1 it rocks Rangers, it really did today.
“It looked like they struggled to get their momentum and rhythm back into their game. I think they are a little bit vulnerable at this moment in time."
Philippe Clement was absolutely furious at referee John Beaton for awarding Hibs a penalty in the second half for a foul by Ianis Hagi on Josh Campbell.
Rangers managerBut Bell can see exactly why it was given.
Talking through the incident on BBC Sportscene, the ex-Rangers shot-stopper said: "It was very debatable. First and foremost, you can see Josh Campbell here, he plays a huge part in winning the ball back. I think it's [Mohamed] Diomande that plays it into the centre of midfield.
"But he continues his run, wants to get in the box to create a chance for Hibs, and there's a coming together between Hagi and Josh Campbell here. Hagi is trying to get his body in front of Campbell.
"For me there is contact. It is a very debatable one.
"I think John Beaton's made the call, it's a penalty. I don't think VAR can intervene because I think you can see this both ways to be perfectly honest.
"A very controversial moment. A huge moment in the game."
