A reality TV star hosted an event that resulted in him and attendees getting Covid-19 from - but he says it was so “epic” it made it “worth almost dying for.”

”Flipping Out” star Jeff Lewis admitted on his SiriusXM radio show that he spent the holidays having to recover from the virus after he threw the get-together for his employees.

“That was an epic party. It was so worth almost dying for,” Lewis said, per Page Six.

The event took place on December 21st and in addition to himself, several of his colleagues also ended up contracting the coronavirus.

This Reality TV star revealed that his co-host Megan Weaver, assistant Shane Douglas, actress Monika Casey, Mercedeh Javid Feight and his boyfriend Scott Anderson all experienced symptoms after attending the party.

“Thursday is when everyone started testing positive,” Lewis explained.

He went on to share that “a third” of the attendees also got Covid-19. Still he has no regrets about hosting the super spreader event.

“We also have people with symptoms who haven’t been tested yet. I don’t regret [it], by the way,” Lewis said, adding: “People are saying we’re reckless and stupid. No, we’re not, f**kers. We were all vaccinated and we had a nurse there testing all of us before we even went in the door. I thought we were being responsible.”

Lewis also shared in detail how his “really bad” experience with the virus has been unfolding as of late.

“Christmas Eve, I tested negative, so I went to my family’s Christmas Eve dinner. I did wear a mask and I stayed distanced … then I started feeling sick at dinner. I went home early,” he said.

He continued, “My fever went up to 103.8. Scottie took a bowl of ice water and was putting cloths on my body to try to bring the temperature down. I was a little delirious and I told him, ‘I think you’re going to wake up tomorrow and I’m going to be dead.’”

The dad also shared that he is taking the steps to distance himself from his 5-year-old daughter, Monroe, in an effort to protect her from contracting Covid-19.

Lewis confirmed that his daughter has been staying with her other dad, Gage Edward.

“I don’t want her to get sick, and I also don’t want to take care of her because I don’t have any nannies,” Lewis said, as he explained that even his housekeepers have the virus.

“I’m down to two, and if anything happens to those two, I’m not going to be able to feed myself. I don’t know who is going to be able to take care of me!” he exclaimed.
