Real Madrid have gone full strength for their Champions League opener against Celtic.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti has never won at Parkhead as a manager, having taken some games at the famous stadium with AC Milan. But he seems keen on ensuring his European champions don't suffer a similar fate as all the stars in his arsenal are available for use against Ange Postecoglou's men.
Karim Benzima, Vinicius Junior and Luka Modric are in the starting XI and their Champions League squad depth riches are illustrated with players like Eden Hazard, Edouardo Camavinga and Rodrygo all on the bench. Ancelotti said ahead of this match with Celtic: "It’s true, it’s not been good stadium for me and my teams in the past. I don’t have a clear memory of being here. We played Celtic twice in the group stages and once in the last 16 (2004 0-0, 2007 last 16 0-0, 2007 group stage 2-1) but we were able to win in Milan after ET.
