Real Madrid handed fixture headache ahead of Liverpool clash in Champions League

Liverpool Madrid UEFA Champions League Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti Jurgen Klopp La Liga

A replay of the Champions League final from last season takes place in less than three weeks - but Real Madrid are facing some tricky fixtures in and around the clash with Liverpool.

Liverpool will welcome the European champions to Anfield on Tuesday, February 21 and then the second leg will take place in the Spanish capital on Wednesday, March 15.

Jurgen Klopp's side will have to play three Premier League games before that first meeting - while Carlo Ancelotti's La Liga winners will have six games to navigate their way through before the clash with the Reds in the last 16 of the competition.
