Real Madrid fans who left Wednesday evening's Champions League win against Manchester City early were forced to watch the dramatic conclusion on their phones.
Dozens of home supporters streamed out of the Bernabeu before full-time, as few expected Real to score two last-minute goals against Pep Guardiola's side to force the game into extra-time. Yet that's what happened thanks to Rodrygo's dramatic brace.
Karim Benzema then scored the winner for Real in the 95th minute to secure a famous 6-5 aggregate win. The Spanish giants will now face Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris on May 28, aiming to win a record 14th European crown.
Benzema's goal completed a sensational turn around. A minority of home fans left the ground shortly before full-time - admitting defeat - but were forced to sit outside of the Bernabeu to watch the drama unfold on their phones after their premature exits.
A video of the eager supporters has been shared on social media. They aren't celebrating in the clip, as they would've been aware of Real's goals thanks to the roar in the Bernabeu. TV footage is always at least a few seconds behind what's happening in the stadium.
It's believed the fans weren't allowed back into the Bernabeu by stewards for security reasons and only a handful of supporters left the ground early. It's unlikely they'll make the same mistake in future following Wednesday evening's dramatic conclusion.

"You could not write it," former Real defender Jonathan Woodgate told BBC Radio 5 Live. "Phenomenal football by Real Madrid and City had no comeback. What a game of football. It’s probably the best I have ever seen. An incredible performance by Real Madrid."
City took a 4-3 lead to the Bernabeu and most were expecting them to reach the final after Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring on Wednesday. But you can never write off Real, who've also staged European recoveries against Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea this term.
"I know Manchester City have had problems in this competition before but this was the most brutal way to go out," former City, Liverpool and Real winger Steve McManaman told BT Sport. "We didn’t think it was going to end like that.
"It is the final Liverpool would have preferred. We wanted an all English final but this will be a brilliant final. If they do beat Liverpool in the final, to go through PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City, I think it would be the greatest victory ever."
Carlo Ancelotti added: "I cannot say we are used to living this kind of life, but what happened tonight it happened against Chelsea and also against PSG. If you have to say why, it is the history of this club that helps us to keep going when it seems that we are gone.
"The game was close to finished and we managed to find the last energy we had. We played a good game against a strong rival. When we are able to equalise we had a psychological advantage in extra-time. I have no time to think about this [losing the game]."
