The January transfer window was certainly a successful one for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool as they secured the signing of Luis Diaz from Porto.
There is still hope a deal can be completed for Fabio Carvalho to join in the summer as the Reds boss embarks on the important rebuild of his squad.
Elsewhere, though, rumours continue to circle regarding the futures of a number of key players as contracts near their completion.
Here's a round-up of all the latest Liverpool transfer gossip from around the globe.

Who?
Fabio Carvalho
Where?
What?
Liverpool may face competition from Spain for midfielder Fabio Carvalho in the summer, according to reports.
The Reds were painfully close to securing a deal for the 19-year-old on deadline day, but it was too late to get it over the line completely and the move fell through.
Liverpool were happy to loan the player back to Fulham for the rest of the season, so it makes no difference in that regard, but rumours are now starting to emerge regarding interest from elsewhere.
Spanish outlet AS claims the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid could be tempted by the nominal compensation fee they would have to pay Fulham if he moves abroad.
Liverpool, though, remain hopeful of securing the player in the summer and fending off possible competition from other European clubs.
Who?
Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino
Where?
What?
Liverpool could look to sell one of their key forward players in the summer, according to reports.
The club's desire to wrap up a contract extension for Mohamed Salah is well known, but less has been said about the futures of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Like Salah, the duo would be entering the final year of their contracts next season which creates the risk of losing them on a free transfer.
If contract extensions won't be signed in the coming months, the Transfer Window podcast 's Ian McGarry has explained why the club will want to offload at least one of them.
"Jurgen Klopp and the club are willing to cash in on one of their front three," McGarry said.
"They're doing this for two reasons. One: because the three players are coming to a stage in their career where their value will only decrease because of their age.
"But also because Salah is the only one that is performing at a level consistently that can justify the kind of contract that he and his representatives are asking for.
"Therefore, selling one of the other two will make that a lot more credible with regards to funding the Salah contract, as well as the fact of course they are actively recruiting younger players as well.
Who?
Kylian Mbappe
Where?
What?
A name that won't go away for Liverpool is Kylian Mbappe as the Paris Saint-Germain forward has once again been linked with a move to Merseyside.
The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer and is set to join a new club on a free transfer.
According to ESPN, along with Real Madrid, both Liverpool and Manchester City 'maintain interest' in the player with his future still seemingly unresolved.
Reports emerged during the transfer window that the La Liga giants had agreed to sign the player at the end of the season, with the player's wages reportedly reaching £40m a year, almost £800,000-a-week.
They remain rumours as such, but the Bernabeu is Mbappe's most likely destination and it seems only City would have the financial power to rival Madrid's offer.
For Liverpool, priorities lie elsewhere with Salah's contract extension currently at the forefront of everyone's thinking.
