A partner at the Plymouth office of law firm Womble Bond Dickinson has taken a top position in a leading legal organisation.
Real estate finance specialist Craig Moore has been elected as President of the Plymouth Law Society.
Leading WBD’s 20-strong real estate team in Plymouth, Mr Moore specialises in all aspects of commercial property work, with a particular emphasis on property finance.
He regularly acts for a wide variety of lenders, insolvency practitioners, investors, developers, property receivers, public bodies, charities, education institutions, registered providers and commercial clients.
Established in 1815, Plymouth Law Society has worked with a wide range of local law firms, aiming to provide support and a collective voice for the city’s legal community.
Mr Moore’s appointment follows the departure of James Walsh from the post, who held the position of president for two years. Mr Walsh will continue as treasurer for the society.
Mr Moore said: “I am delighted to have been elected as the new president of Plymouth Law Society. The society does a tremendous amount to support the legal community in Plymouth and nurture new talent as it continues to grow. I am excited to become a key part of that growth and continue the valuable work of my predecessor James.”
