JOHN Swinney has been re-elected as Scotland’s First Minister after a vote of MSPs in the new Holyrood parliament.
The vote on Tuesday afternoon went along party lines, with the SNP’s 57 MSPs (minus the now-presiding officer Kenny Gibson) backing Swinney to remain in the top job.
