The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has teamed up with publisher Reach to support its annual small business awards.
The Celebrating Small Business Awards will take place in 12 nations and regions across the UK between February and March 2023, culminating in a UK final in May.
As part of the year-long partnership, Reach will sponsor the awards and provide an advertising prize pot worth £155,000, which will be shared amongst the finalists. Each prize can be used against the purchase of advertising in Reach news brands, including display advertising - online and print - hyper-local advertising, content marketing and video advertising.
As media partner, Reach will also share awards news with its local audiences around the UK via its portfolio of news brands, including Insider and the Daily Record in Scotland.
Caroline Lavelle, chief commercial officer at the FSB, said: “We’re looking forward to celebrating small businesses that have innovated and excelled across a range of areas, from sustainability to exporting, and from all backgrounds, from family businesses to young entrepreneurs.”
Sarah Pullen, commercial director at Reach Regionals, added: "We are excited to enter into a media partnership with the FSB to support its 2023 awards programme, which is the largest and most important event of its kind in the small business calendar.
"At Reach, we are dedicated to helping small businesses to thrive in challenging economic times, so we're delighted to be able to offer advertising prizes that small businesses can use to reach our audience of millions, up and down the country."
