A London chef is having to bat away thousands of booking requests after pretending David Blaine would be visiting to sit in a new glass box outside her restaurant in the New Year.

Ravneet Gill, best known for presenting the BBC’s Junior Bake Off, has had a transparent covered terrace installed outside her Chingford restaurant Gina and joked online that it would be the setting for the world-famous magician’s latest stunt.
