The Baltimore Ravens picked up an important 27-24 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, moving to 2-0 and taking sole possession of first place in the AFC North. The team showed poise on both sides of the ball, limiting Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and company with their defense while looking comfortable with their own offensive unit led by signal-caller Lamar Jackson.
One of the highlights of Baltimore’s Week 2 win was a 52-yard connection between Jackson and rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers, who’s quickly establishing himself as a premier receiving threat. When Flowers was asked about what he said to a Cincinnati cornerback after he was told he was “locked up” on a touchdown by fellow wide receiver Nelson Agholor, Flowers had a short but sweet response.
