Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon Ra St. Brown torched the Tampa Bay Bucs for 12 catches and 124 yards in week 6. Perhaps Ravens defensive back Marlon Humphrey can slow him down in week 7.

Humphrey completely shut down Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins this past weekend. Hopkins had just one catch the entire afternoon and the Ravens defense allowed just one third-down conversion out of nine attempts.
Now, by no stretch of the imagination is the Titans offense as high-powered as the thriving 2023 Lions. With wide receiver Jameson Williams now back in the lineup, Detroit poses a real problem for opposing pass defenses.
The Ravens should opt to deploy Humphrey at the line of scrimmage versus St. Brown. Humphrey needs to jam him on short intermediate routes and run stride for stride with him on shallow crosses to allow time for the Ravens’ pass rush to get quarterback Jared Goff on the ground. Watch for this match-up and also watch how linebacker Patrick Queen plays against Lions tight-end Sam LaPorta this Sunday.
